It is 1km away from Steni and is a small and remote village with whitewashed houses, kept in good condition. A marble inscription, in the courtyard of the cathedral of Agia Karmela (the Virgin of Karmilos), informs visitors that the road that connected Potamia and Steni was opened only in the year 1976. The village is surrounded by dovecotes.
