One day in Mandraki is enough to meet people and drink your coffee in the square of Ilikiomeni or Leukantio with the locals. The white and colorful two-storey houses with the wooden balconies, the old mill, the cobblestones, the building of the City Hall in Potamos, Kazarma which was the Italian Residency, the alleys, the lands with citrus trees and the dome of Panagia Potamitissa (1837), the stone building of Karava and the beach of Agios Savvas light up as if they are painted in gold color when the sunset comes.
