It has an oval shape and a stunning mosaic designed by Paschalis Paschalakis, a known craftsman of Nisyros. The old rural health center, the caf\u00e9 of Nikolas which is closed, houses and other caf\u00e9s are lined around the church. The walk in the village will take you to two exquisite viewpoints of the volcano\u2019s caldera and in its alleys you will see many restored houses, painted in bright colors, with the typical sloped tile roof.
