This settlement is the largest one in the area of Korthi. It has accommodation facilities, restaurants, grocery stores, travel agencies, caf\u00e9s and bars. It was the old harbor of the island, where liners coming from Chora docked. The settlement was built during the 19th and 20th century. Some of its old houses still stand along the coast.
