The one is called Fokospilia and it is located on the eastern side of the island. The other one, the cave of Tichos, is found NW, on the cape of Aspros Kavos. You can visit both with the same community caique, which performs a daily cruise around the island during the summer months. <\/p>\n

The Mediterranean monk seal used to find shelter in \u201cFokospilia\u201d (Seal cave) and everything shows that it still comes here until spring, before people start coming frequently. In the past it used to be a pirate hideout. The sea bottom attracts the biggest interest here. <\/p>\n
