Irakleia has two basic settlements: Agios Georgios on the north, where you can find the island\u2019s one and only port, and 4.5 km to the south, on the foot of mountain Papas,where you will find the island\u2019s capital Panagia (or Pano Mera). On the eastern part of Irakleia there is another settlement, called Agios Athanasios, with interesting architecture.
