Antiparos is separated from Paros through a narrow channel. The circumnavigation of the island as well as that of the neighboring islet of Despotico by boat is quite interesting. The landscapes are magnificent and many interesting surprises await the visitors who get the chance to see caves, rocks in different colors and coves with exquisite waters that are only accessible by sea. Fokospilies, on the southern part of Antiparos with their successive small and big caves stand out. The second cave after cape Kavos Skylos is white with a tiny beach. It is an ideal place for harpooning.
The port of Antiparos offers protection against all kinds of weather except for the southeastern and southern winds. You can moor off shore. The water is 2-5m deep.
