Astypalea Maltezana

The road from the capital leads to this beach that shares the name of its village. It is sandy with shallow waters, tamarisks, umbrellas, sunbeds and a small pier for fishing boats. You can see some ancient ruins on the seabed at one end of the beach. At the other end, there is a pier for small boats. You can visit the islets of Chondro, Ligno, Agia Kyriaki, Koutsomytis and Kounoupa that are located off the coast by boat.
