At the inland of Exo Nisi, over the beaches of Tzanaki and Kaminakia lies Armenohori, where vaulted tombs with many grave goods were discovered. These findings are now part of the collection of the Archaeological museum of Astypalaia and indicate the early presence of the Mycenaean civilization on the island. The archaeological site is not yet open to the public.
