The Mykonian teacher and writer Panagiotis Kousathanas donated his books to the Municipality of Mykonos, creating at the same time the House of Culture and Tradition. It includes 10.000 volumes of rare publications about the history and culture of the island from the Antiquity to recent times. You will also find an interesting collection of paintings of various artists with Mykonos- related subjects, a record collection of classical music, an important photographic archive and numerous publications about the island there.
