The lighthouse rises above the cape that defines the island’s west end and it is one of the best spots from which you can enjoy the magnificent sunset. It is one of the most beautiful lighthouses in Cyclades. It was built in 1892 by the French Lighthouse Company. It was renovated in 1925; it was shut down during World War II and reopened in 1945. It started running automatically in 1988.
