You will find the conical rocky hill constantly in front of you following the route from Chora towards Megalo Livadi. There are indications that there was an ancient castle above it, but there has been no excavation to date. Its strategic position high above the bay of Koutalas was its major advantage in the past. Today, the rough path on the southern part of the hill constitutes the major obstacle for those who try to climb hilltop.
