Tinos has many beaches suitable for surfing, where the waves “work” according to the direction of the wind. The large sandy beach of Kolybithra, where the headquarters of the private company is located, is on the north coast of Tinos. It faces the northern Aegean, and therefore, whenever the north wind is blowing greater than 5 on the Beaufort scale, the appropriate conditions for surfing are created.
