Tinos keeps its old road network of paths, which almost cover the whole island, thus connecting villages with each other, as well as with the areas of vital importance for the inhabitants (farmland, rivers, and pastures). The network of stone-paved roads and paths of Tinos, which consists of routes of cultural interest, spreads over in the largest part of the island and it is unique in the Aegean.
