It is the most famous and the busiest beach of Ios. With clear green-light blue waters and sand, it is approximately one kilometer long. Around the beach there are rooms to let and hotels, cafes, bars, beach bars, shops, restaurants. You will do all kinds of water-sports from skiing to scuba diving. A passable dirt road that begins at the end of the beach connects Mylopotas to the area of Palaiokastro offering superb panoramic views of the island’s beaches.
