More Info
Katerina Santorinaiou was one of the legendary figures of the Cyclades. In Mykonos she was called “Diafentou of Great Delos”, or “Lady of Rineia”. She was the last permanent resident of the island and she lived there until she died in 1990. Along with her husband she engaged in agriculture and cattle breeding.
She took care of the island’s churches as much as she could and today her son supports the country church of Agios Georgios and holds their family “records” in Rineia.

The island can be reached by caique or chartered boat from Mykonos. The voyage lasts half an hour.
