Travelers of the 15th century mentioned the existence of this settlement, thus it was probably built before that time. It used to have an enclosed aqueduct that was later destroyed. Walking around the village, you will see many flowery gardens with climbing vines, mansions, dovecotes and old stone bridges. The village also has an impressive view of the cove of Korthi. The church of the Savior is also located at Lardia.
