Follow the trail from Paraporti, near Chora. Head towards the neighboring beach of Lydi and then towards the village of Syneti and Dipotamata. Follow the stream and take a detour to the east just before you reach Kochylou. It will lead you to the castle of Faneromeni. The downhill cobblestone trail ends at Ormos Korthiou. – There are many other trails on the island, which are just as beautiful and signposted, such as: Aprovato – Strapouries [4 hours], Vourkoti – Chora [2 hours], Aidonia – Monastery of Tromarchiani [2 hours].
