Semi-mountainous village on the SE side of Donoussa, built upon terraces, with running waters spurting from springs. This is why so many fruit trees and vegetable gardens are traced around the houses. The place of the settlement offers a view over South Aegean. Try “winy” or “patatato” (with potatoes) rooster in the village’s taverns. As you enter Mersini stop at the holy church of Agia Sofia and quench your thirst from the spring that flows below the platanus tree.
