The fishing village of Aliki is 11km away from Parikia to the south. It constitutes a summer vacation resort and it is preferred by families with children as it has hotels, taverns by the sea and cafés. There are 4 beautiful beaches around the area. On June 23 in Aliki the custom of Klidonas is revived and on August 6 there is the fish festival with dances and treats.
