Although there is not a long tradition of horse riding on Rhodes, over these last years it has quickly evolved to a point where it has become a particularly popular activity. The horse riding clubs of Rhodes are active throughout the year and organize walks, excursions and riding festivals.
Horse Riding Club of Ialyssos. It concentrates on sport and free riding and on the amazing Friesian horses. It organizes annual two-day equestrian festivals, with a dressage and Friesian horse shows.
Horse Riding Club “Kadmos”. It is the first horse riding club founded in Rhodes, in 1996. Apart from lessons and horse races, the club organizes excursions on wooded hills and mountains, as well as exhilarating horse riding at the beach
