Thera’s seabed offers impressive views to those who enjoy diving. You can choose the Tripiti cape in Therassia, Taxiarchi with the shipwreck, Old Kameni, the coral reef in the area of Adiavati (south, within Caldera near Akrotiri).
If you wish to discover caves, you can dive in Mesa Springs and in the so-called rock of the Indian or Marinato (that resembles the section of the famous professor and excavator of the prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri).
Some other areas suitable for diving are Armeni near Oia (for wall diving), Amoudi and Aspronisi.
