It is a multicultural and rather busy beach in the foothills of Mesa Vouno where Ancient Thera is located. It is fully organised, with dark sand and crystal clear waters. In the long sidewalk across the beach (where vehicle circulation is forbidden during the summer months) you can find cafés, restaurants and shops. In the settlement you can also find hotels, rooms for rent, supermarkets, car rental offices, travel agencies etc. You can walk through Kamari and head towards Ancient Thera (there are signs that lead you there).
