Officially, the name of this village is in the feminine gender, but everybody refers to it in the neutral. It took its name after the parish church of Agios Agapitos. It is one of the most untouched traditional villages of Tinos and it is worthwhile to take a walk through it. In Agapitos Filippousis Square, below the old Community office, you will find the old spring with its water running continuously from two marble spouts. At the other edge of the square there is a coffee shop and grocery shop. As you walk, you will meet one of the largest arches in Tinos, with the tables of a small coffee shop in its refreshing shade.
