This is one of the oldest villages of the island and dates back to the 13th-14th century. It has marble fountains, archways, and small coffee shops. The church of Analipsi (1908) is located at its centre, with a pebbled courtyard that provides a view as far as Mykonos. Next to the church, there is the museum of icons and treasures, and a little further below, the folklore museum. Marble signs will show you the way towards Panaidaki, a small domed church. As you walk in the neighbourhoods of Arnados, you will find the upper square, where you can drink water from the spring built in 1823.
