Rhodes Ahmed Hafiz Muslim library

It was founded in 1794 and has many Arabic, Persian and Ottoman manuscripts on display. Among these are a masterly illustrated Koran from 1540 and a chronicle of the conquest of Rhodes by the Turks in 1522, written by Sultan Suleiman’s physician.
