There is a diving centre in Pigadia that can supply you with the necessary equipment and tell you where the most beautiful parts of the island’s seabed are located. Recommended locations include the Kastelia area (a rocky landscape with caves) in the southeast, the Diakofto area near the Kastelo (the ruins of an Italian castle) in the south where the remains of a shipwrecked German freighter are located (15 meters underwater) and the beach of Ahata with its fascinating caves, as well as Agios Petros in the east.
