The circumnavigation of Paros and a larger ride by boat on the surrounding rocky islets offer beautiful images and surprises.
The basic port of the island is Parikia (VHF: Channel 12), which offers protection from “meltemia” (north winds) and the south winds. You can moor inside the port or off shore. You will find good anchorages on the northern and northeastern side of Parikia bay.
-The picturesque port of Naousa is small and can fit a specific number of boats. You can moor on the outer side of the pier because externally the breakwater suffers from the western winds.
-Other anchorages: Agios Ioannis is a very good anchorage in all weather conditions. You can moor south or west of the beach. The seabed offers a good grip. Piso Livadi suffers from the northeastern winds. Ambelas offers anchorage and it is protected against all the winds, except for the southeastern ones. They bay of Faragas is protected only by northwestern and northeastern winds.
