It is considered of the 16th century and it was restored in the 1970s by the Hellenic Society for the Protection of the Environment and Cultural Heritage. In the summer, the Small Museum of Modern Pottery operates at the site of the monastery under the auspices of the Municipal Enterprise of Sifnos and the Potters’ Association of Sifnos.
