Στον οικισμό λειτουργούν ξενοδοχεία, καφέ και εστιατόρια. Στο ύψωμα της Αγίας Πακούς, είχε κτιστεί οικισμός της αρχαϊκής και κλασικής εποχής. Υπάρχουν ίχνη ιερού αφιερωμένου στην «Επήκοο» θεά.
