Το πιο μεγάλο αγροτικό χωριό κοντά στη Χώρα, συνεχίζει και στις μέρες μας να εφοδιάζει την αγορά με προϊόντα από τα εύφορα κτήματά της. Αξιοθέατα είναι ο πύργος Λορέντζου-Καϊρη, κτισμένος το 1760 και ο βυζαντινός ναός του Ταξιάρχη του 12ου αιώνα.
