Ίος Η μονή του Πύργου

Τη λένε και μονή Αγίου Ιωάννου του Προδρόμου και βρίσκεται στο ψηλότερο σημείο του νησιού προσφέροντας μοναδική θέα. Την παραμονή της γιορτής του αγίου, στις 24 Ιουνίου, τελούνται εδώ τα έθιμα του Κλήδονα και της Φωτάρας. Οι πιστοί ανάβουν μεγάλες φωτιές, ανταλλάσσουν πειράγματα με σατιρικά δίστιχα, γλεντούν και χορεύουν.
