Σύμη Ξυλογλυπτκή-επιπλοποιία

Εκτός από τη ναυπηγική στο νησί άνθισε η ξυλογλυπτική και η επιπλοποιία. Οι τεχνίτες κατασκεύαζαν έπιπλα, τέμπλα εκκλησιών, σαλόνια, τραπεζαρίες, ταβάνια, καθρέφτες –από διάφορα είδη ξύλου όπως μαόνι, καρυδιά, οξιά, κέδρο.
