This is the third largest settlement of Tinos, with narrow paved streets that pass under archways, small taverns, and small coffee shops that put their tables outside in the alleys. The immense church of Agios Ioannis and Agia Triada stands at its centre. If you follow the marble signs, you will find your way to Paliamantra, the old aqueduct of the village. Falatadosalways was a farming village, because of the well-watered fertile plateau of Livaderi. The inhabitants of Falatados were also very good builders –in fact the builder who found the miraculous icon of the Virgin Megalochari in the year 1823 on the farmland of Doxaras in the town, during the building of Zoodochos Pigi, was also from Falatados.
